This module digs into the pressing issue of plastic pollution and its profound consequences on both flora and fauna. With a staggering amount of plastic waste entering our natural ecosystems annually, wildlife faces entanglement, ingestion, and fatal consequences. Additionally, the flora is affected by altered soil composition and the presence of microplastics. Discover the challenges caused by plastic pollution, the harmful effects on our environment, and the measures we can take to safeguard our precious natural world.
In this section we also make available PowerPoint Presentations, one per RESCUE training module. Each presentation includes theory, recommendations from the authors, some practical tasks, references, and additional learning resources.
