Humans invented plastic but the wildlife, both flora and fauna, is the most harmed and affected by it. Plastic residues are often mistaken for food by animals, animals get entangled in plastic garbage, animals get sick because they ingest plastic, and plastic pollutes animals’ habitats, environments and ecosystems.
