#BreakFreeFromPlastic members work together to bring about systemic change by tackling plastic pollution across the whole value chain - from extraction to disposal - focusing on prevention rather than cure.
#BreakFreeFromPlastic is the global movement working to achieve a future free from plastic pollution. The movement fights petrochemicals, pushes for corporate accountability, promotes systematic solutions and builds zero-waste communities. Creating Plastic-free Education Training Program for Teachers, the Plastics Education Curriculum, toxic tours and podcasts.
Since its launch in 2016, more than 12,000 organizations and individual supporters from across the world have joined the #BreakFreeFromPlastic movement to demand massive reductions in single-use plastics and to push for lasting solutions to the plastic pollution crisis.
#BreakFreeFromPlastic has created a global network and is driven by the desire to shift narratives and change policy. They are dedicated to achieve systematic change through a number of political campaigns and the development of educational materials.
