learn factual knowledge such as definition, properties of plastic and basic classification;
critical analysis of selected reports presenting EU data regarding plastics production, demand, and waste;
become familiar with selected methods of plastics production;
stimulate environmental awareness;
gain historical perspective about the evolution of plastic.
