Environmental app for startups is one of the results of the “Environmental change” project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

Description of the Green Initiative
Startups, young adults, entrepreneurs and the VET (vocational education and training) sector.
The Environmental app for startups provides a personalised strategy addressing weak points and empowering to take an active approach towards environmental change, and thus be prepared to influence sustainable processes.
The app involves knowledge across 6 thematic parts and in the form of practical activities:
- ways of transition to natural energy and combating climate change,
- towards biodiversity and ecological transformation of companies,
- plastic waste management in your SME,
- redesigning products and services to minimise the use of materials,
- circular businesses models, and
- life cycle thinking.
It has 3 parts: a self-assessment panel concerning environmental change processes in SMEs, a customised training pathway and a strategy maker panel. Based on the results of the self-assessment, the training pathway will be focused on the basic, intermediate or advanced level in a given part.
Training on environmental issues in the form of a mobile app has the potential to better attract younger generations, startups and entrepreneurs especially in view of the fast-paced life.
Supporting the uptake of innovative approaches and digital technologies for teaching and learning offering m-learning on current topics.
The app can initiate the preparation of own personalized training that can focus of effective use of paste going away from plastic and save ideas in the strategy maker panel.
